Durlston Castle and Country Park is less than a mile away, as is the South West coastal path leading along the majestic Jurassic Coast.

Further afield you can explore more of Dorset with a visit to the county town of Dorchester with its roman townhouse, victorian borough gardens and Brewery Square. Within a short drive you can visit Corfe Castle, Arne and Studland.

Perfect location with it being on the seafront and only a short walk to the beach, pubs and restaurants in Swanage

The location was very convenient for the beach and town centre shops. Only slight downsides were parking - you have to get expert at tucking in well and turning in small spaces, the stairs - only a problem if you are getting on in age and your family want you to carry all the bags up and down, and the proximity to bars which were a little noisy on Friday night. Only enough to drop location from 5 to 4 rating.

It is so beautifully positioned right on the sea-front with exceptional views, we swam in the sea every day, the beach has just been awarded blue flag beach of the year 2023! Only a medium-sized car, or preferably small, can, however, be manoevered into the car parking space. If your car is larger walk down and look before turning into the sea front approach road.

The property is central to facilities that Swanage offers, with uninterrupted views of the bay. The car did not move from the front parking as we used the easily accessed bus service when we travelled out of Swanage. We found that pre-booking for dining out was the norm.

Lovely clean beachfront flat, great to be able to hear and see the sea the whole time. Ideal location right in town. We worried parking outside could be a bit tight specially with a large car, but we managed it fine in the end.
