Pet Friendly Beaches in Dorset

Written by Ginny Kay on

Boasting miles of countryside and beaches that are ideal for strolling along with your four legged friend in tow, Dorset is the perfect location to bring your pet on holiday this year.

The beaches in Dorset are one of the wonders of this beauty county. You won’t struggle to find one for you and Fido to explore – hey why not take on a new one each day of your holiday!? Many of them appeal to dog owners as they allow pets all year round, and a few have some restrictions.

Kimmeridge Bay, Worbarrow Bay, Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove allow pets all year round. Each is different and has it’s own attraction, whether you have a preference for sand, shingle or pebble.

The South West Coast Path also offers hundreds of miles of stunning views and coastline to walk and take in. With exceptional heritage and wildlife, you won’t be disappointed and you and your pet won’t have any chance of getting bored along the way.

If you’re bringing your pet, we have some pet friendly properties available here – perfect for relaxing at the end of a long day walking!
