Situated one mile from Charmouth and just over two miles from Lyme Regis, Fern Cottage is perfectly located to explore the Jurassic coast. Charmouth is home to the world famous fossil beach, and was recently nominated by BBC Countryfile Magazine as one of the UK's five best beaches 2017.  

Charmouth has a traditional family atmosphere, a sandy beach with excellent rock pools, good shops, cafes and restaurants.

Fern Cottage is part of a group of cottages which share grounds with the Fernhill Heights hotel, located one mile from Charmouth, on the road to Lyme Regis.  Surrounded by over 30 acres of fields and woodland, with plenty of excellent walks, and a secluded ornamental lake, Fern Cottage has a peaceful and relaxing feel.  Guests have access to the Fernhill Heights hotel outdoor pool and communal BBQ area. The Lyme Regis golf course is approximately two miles away.

There's also a communal laundry room located by the hotel with a coin operated washing machine and dryer.

Downstairs a spacious open plan living room/dining area, as well as a separate kitchen and downstairs bathroom.  Stairs lead up to 2 bedrooms (a king-size with an ensuite and a twin).

There is a small outside patio/garden, with seating, to the rear of the property, accessed via a communal walkway.  Please take care, as the patio/garden is terraced and is quite steep. 

Bedrooms: 1) king-size with skylight and ensuite bathroom 2) twin room with skylight 

Ensuite bathroom: off the master bedroom, with bath/shower over bath, basin and W.C.  

Kitchen: wooden units, with an electric hob and oven, fridge, dual oven/microwave, a good sized freezer and views to the woodland at the rear of the property

Living/dining room: laminate wood effect flooring, comfortable seating and dining table, Freeview TV and DVD player and radio/CD player.  Free WiFi provided.  

G/F bathroom: with bath/shower over bath, basin and W.C

Parking: private resident/guest parking directly outside the property 

Linen & towels provided: please bring your own beach towels

Fuel: electric heating

Children: any age accepted, travel cot and high chair available, please take care at the lake and the swimming pool, as the water is deep 

Pets: no pets allowed

Outdoor swimming pool: requires a refundable £5 deposit, access via the reception of the Fernhill Heights hotel (open May-September).
