Being local also means we inspect all our properties personally, so whenever you call us for advice or recommendations, there will be someone in the office who can help you – even if you want to know if the garden is properly dog-proofed or how easy it is to walk to the beach! The thing to remember is that we visit every site ourselves. So if you want a personal recommendation, just ask.

We're currently accepting bookings arriving from 4th July 2020 onwards. Booking with us gives you the reassurance that if you are unable to go on holiday because there are UK Government restrictions on travel due to the Coronavirus outbreak which make going on your holiday impossible, or the property or location you have booked is legally closed to visitors due to the Coronavirus outbreak, then you will be able to choose any of the following options:

  • Transfer your holiday to new dates in 2020 or 2021, free of charge. Furthermore, if you choose the equivalent dates in 2021, we will freeze the price
  • Get a credit voucher for the amount previously paid for your booking, to spend on any Original Cottages break, to take place before the end of 2021
  • Cancel your booking and receive a refund of the amount already paid for the holiday

As you can imagine, we are currently experiencing an unprecedented level of enquiries as a consequence of the Coronavirus outbreak. Please be assured that our team are working around the clock to respond to all customer support requests as quickly as possible.

We have been prioritising customers with the nearest arrival dates and would like to invite you to contact us by telephone, which is now the quickest way to help with your enquiry. Our phone lines are open 10am - 4pm, Monday to Friday (closed on public holidays).

On 23rd March 2020, the Government issued an unprecedented instruction that everyone must stay at home due to the current Coronavirus pandemic. This means that if you were due to travel with us during the 'stay at home' period, you will unfortunately not be able to travel as planned. As a result, for customers with a booking during the UK Lockdown the following option are available to you: 

  • Transfer your holiday to new dates in 2020 or 2021, free of charge. Furthermore, if you choose the equivalent dates in 2021, we will freeze the price
  • Get a credit voucher for the amount previously paid for your booking, to spend on any Original Cottages break, to take place before the end of 2021
  • Cancel your booking and receive a refund of the amount already paid for the holiday

  2. Sign into your account using your email and password - or register your account
  3. Find your booking and select 'See options’

If you choose to transfer, you’ll receive an email that confirms your transfer with your new booking reference.

Should you decide to transfer your holiday to the same dates in 2021, we will ensure prices are frozen to reflect the price you would have paid this year, taking into account any changes in public or school holiday dates.

If you decide to transfer your holiday to a different (non-equivalent) date in either 2020 or 2021, any difference in the price of your new dates will be applied or credited as appropriate at the time of transferring.

We encourage all our customers to transfer your holiday to another date and alongside our property owners, we shall do everything we can to help you to do this. If you are not in a position to decide on new holiday dates or would prefer not to transfer your booking, you can cancel your booking and either convert your payments into an E-voucher, or receive a refund. These options will also be available to you by logging into your Customer Account.
