Hazelwood is a stunning holiday home located in the hamlet of Harman's Cross, close to Corfe Castle and the Victorian town of Swanage. With its own outdoor swimming pool, hot tub and sauna, Hazelwood offers a sense of tranquillity while still having plenty to see and do on your doorstep. The property can be enjoyed all year round, in the summer you can make use of the outdoor fully functioning kitchen, BBQ, pizza oven and seating area, designed for entertaining while taking in the breathtaking views of rolling countryside and the steam train track that runs through the valley below. In the winter months, the feature wood burner and secluded hot tub can be enjoyed on those colder evenings. 

The open plan living space on the ground floor is perfectly set up for enjoying special times with family and friends, the entrance invites you into the room, where you will find the open plan kitchen complete with a feature island and breakfast bar. With the dining table just off the kitchen, it is great for entertaining. The heart of the house is the stunning suspended wood burner, leading into the seating area complete with grand piano and panoramic views of the rolling countryside. An open staircase leads to a mezzanine balcony overlooking the main downstairs living area, leading off into a games room, two bedrooms and a family bathroom.

The remaining two bedrooms and snug lounge are found on the ground floor. The stylish master bedroom with en-suite and dressing room has breathtaking views through patio doors over the lush green countryside beyond. The double bedroom at the rear of the property benefits from having a modern shower-room next door and plenty of storage for your holiday clothes. The snug lounge is the best place to chill and put on a film, it is complete with a play-station for keeping the little ones entertained!

Hazelwood is located in the hamlet of Harman's Cross, close to the Historic Village of Corfe Castle and the Seaside Town of Swanage, each just a short drive away. Swanage is well known for its Steam Railway running through the valley that you can see from Hazelwood. The village has two petrol stations both with small convenience shops and there is a pop-up post office, local walks are easily accessible, and the sandy beaches of Studland, Shell Bay and Swanage are all within a short drive.

Ground Floor: Open plan kitchen, dining room, living area with suspended solid wood log burner, vaulted ceiling and mezzanine balcony. Doors coming off main ground floor space to master en-suite bedroom, double bedroom, snug TV room and family bathroom. 

Kitchen: Modern and sociable kitchen complete with breakfast bar looking into the living room space and dining area. NEFF appliances, induction hob, electric oven, coffee machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. Door leading to utility room.  

Living/Dining Area: Open plan with comfortable seating, suspended wood burning stove in centre of the room, grand piano, oak flooring, wooden patio doors leading to large decked area and outdoor facilities. Please note there is no TV in the main living area.

Snug: Comfortable seating, Playstation 3, Flatscreen Smart TV. 

Games Room: Books, games and Flatscreen TV, sofa bed.

4 Bedrooms: 1) King size bed, countryside views, walk through dressing room and en-suite bathroom - feature bath and walk in shower 2) Double bed with bathroom next door 3) Single child's bunk bed with sofa bed underneath 4) Single child's bunk bed with sofa bed underneath.

We had a fantastic holiday at Hazelwood! The house was superb, the facilities outstanding, we loved the pool and the hot tub! The location of the property was great for walks from the house in every direction. The addition of the steam train passing made us feel like the Railway Children! The house was clean and comfortable and there was plenty to do. Thank you for a great holiday!
