Description
This beautiful and unique property has seen various changes of use over the years. Originally believed to be a farm stable building, it subsequently became a Quaker Chapel in Victorian times and more recently a taxi stand, petrol station and garage. Now it has been lovingly transformed into a stunning home whilst maintaining lots of original features.
Hidden behind wooden gates, step into a stunning orangery with high ceilings, cobbled floor and feature vintage spiral staircase. At the rear two former stables have been converted into double rooms, both with en-suites. A wooden staircase leads to a balcony overlooking the orangery and entrance to the open plan dining area with wood burner and kitchen.
Above the kitchen and overlooking the living area, sits a mezzanine bedroom with day bed that converts to a double bed with reduced height beams. At the rear a living room with sofa bed and bi-fold doors leads onto a decked patio with palm trees overlooking the pretty rear garden.
The centre of town and sandy beach are a ten minute walk away, it's also just a ten minute walk to open countryside and Durlston Country Park.
Bedroom 1) ground floor with double bed, en-suite bathroom with shower over bath, and stable doors leading to garden and undercover seating area 2) ground floor with zip and link 2ft 6 beds (can be joined to create a king size bed), en-suite shower room and double doors leading to garden and undercover seating area, 3) single day bed with trundle pull out to create an additional double on mezzanine level overlooking open plan dining area and kitchen.
