This stylish first floor apartment with allocated off road parking, has been fully refurbished and decorated to a high standard throughout. Formally part of Rocklands hotel, the building was converted in the mid 1970s into apartments. Rocklands sits on an elevated position with Seashell View ideally situated at the front of the building, enjoying stunning views straight over Swanage bay and out to sea.
There’s plenty of character and a real sense of light and space with the high ceilings and bay window. Seashell View has 3 bedrooms, consisting of a king size room with sea views, a double with sea views and one room with zip and link beds that can made as 2 singles or a king size bed.
The living room has been thoughtfully furnished with comfortable sofas, a large smart TV, retro record player with USB port and a hand painted dresser containing plenty of books and games for the whole family. Settle down with a cuppa and enjoy the scenery from the large bay window with far reaching views across the town framed by Ballard Down, and across the sea towards Bournemouth and Christchurch.
A family bathroom provides both a large freestanding bath with hand held shower attachment plus a separate shower cubicle, basin with vanity unit and W.C. plus heated towel rail.
The beautiful bespoke kitchen has lots of lovely extras such as Nespresso Magimax coffee machine, Kitchen Aid plus an Alexa to help make life easier. There’s a large wooden dining table able to seat up to 6 people.
Other added extras the owners thoughtfully provide include a welcome pack containing a delicious handmade cake from a very popular local tea room, a picnic basket for guests to use whilst out and about, freestanding fans in all rooms, and a TV (with Now package) in the twin and master bedroom.
Seashell View is centrally positioned with a short walk down to the town centre, sandy beach and the Victorian pier and provides an excellent base in which to explore the area. There’s so much to see and do for the whole family all within walking distance. Step back in time and board a steam train to Corfe Castle and explore the historic ruins. If you’re feeling energetic, step back 185 millions of years in time and take a walk along the iconic Jurassic coastline and experience this truly majestic and unique World Heritage Site.

We had an excellent holiday. The apartment was of a high standard, the weather was very kind to us and we would be happy to return to Swanage and this apartment in the future.
