Description

Court Farmhouse has plenty of character, made from traditional Purbeck stone it has a mixture of contemporary and antique furnishings, along with two wood burning stoves and stunning flagstone flooring. Located close to restaurants and shops in Swanage, this cottage is in an enviable location for those looking for a relaxing holiday with family and friends. 

Dating back to the 1800s, the farmhouse is full of cottage features while still maintaining a modern feel. The kitchen is sociable and open plan, leading onto the dining room - perfect for cooking up a hearty meal with your loved ones while on holiday. The dining area has a wood burning stove for colder evenings, and benefits from doors out to a sunny conservatory, a great place to relax in the summer months overlooking the enclosed garden at the rear. Flagstone flooring leads through the hallway to a cosy living room, with stylish seating and wood burning stove. Across the hallway is another snug room, a quiet space to retreat to and enjoy a good book. There is also a modern tiled shower room on the ground floor.

The bedrooms on the first floor are all fantastic sizes, with a master super-king room, a double bedroom and two twin bedrooms. The family bathroom is also located on the first floor. 

The Victorian seaside town of Swanage with its eclectic mix of independent cafes, shops and galleries is only a 10 minute walk from the farmhouse. Not to mention of course its sandy beach and steam railway. The historic and picturesque Corfe Castle is just 5 miles away and the National Trust beach at Studland with its 4 miles stretch of sandy beach is within a 15 minute drive.
