A beautifully presented and well equipped bungalow that offers spacious and comfortable accommodation in a leafy, tranquil setting right on the doorstep of Durlston Country Park. Aptly named, the property is nestled in a small leafy hollow surrounded by tall trees.
A well maintained and thoughtfully designed garden wraps around the property offering a pretty garden view from every room.
Inside a porch area leads into the spacious living room where a large window floods the room with natural light. The room features a Purbeck stone fireplace (non-working), plenty of comfortable seating to relax in, a large TV and variety of books and games for guests to enjoy.
The double and twin bedrooms have large bay windows overlooking a patio area and benefit from comfortable beds and storage.
A good size kitchen at the rear of the bungalow has plenty of space for cooking and dining and leads directly onto a utility room and cloakroom with a large fridge freezer, washing machine and tumble dryer, plenty of space for coats and footwear, and door to patio area with table and chairs for alfresco dining.
The family bathroom benefits from both a shower cubicle and separate bath plus there’s an additional W.C. in the utility room.
Outside the mature garden has a raised lawn area, climbing roses, pretty flower beds and benches. A separate private parking area in front of the bungalow can easily fit 2 large cars.
Please note that whilst there are no steps in the property, it is accessed via 7 garden steps.
A 15 minute walk down the hill will take you to Swanage town centre with its fabulous sandy beach and host of entertainment.
Woody Hollow lies next to Durlston Country Park and National Nature Reserve. Numerous trails allow visitors to enjoy rambling walks through wildflower meadows and woodlands, picnic with a fabulous cliff top sea view or stop for refreshments at the Victorian Castle. There’s even a dolphin watch area so keep your eyes peeled! For the real wow factor join the South West coastal path and hike along the truly stunning World Heritage Jurassic coastline
