The Old Bakehouse is a charming and cosy cob and flint cottage located in the picturesque village of Winfrith Newburgh, on the doorstep of Lulworth Cove and the historic attraction Durdle Door. The cottage is a perfect base for families or groups of friends coming together to enjoy quality time, with characterful features throughout and lovely dining room for enjoying meals together, complete with the original bread ovens leading to the name 'The Old Bakehouse'. 

The 18th century cottage has a snug living room with patio doors leading out to a sheltered south facing patio, ideal for enjoying a spot of al-fresco dining on a summers evening! In the winter months, the log burner in the living room offers warmth and a cosy place to relax and watch a film. The cottage also benefits from a spacious dining room, with dining table and seating for 6 people, don't forget to have a look at the original bread ovens! The kitchen and conservatory are at the rear of the property and overlook the partly patio, partly lawned enclosed garden. 

The cottage feel continues onto the first floor with three lovely bedrooms, the master bedroom is complete with 'zip and link' beds that can either be set as a super king, or two twin beds making this property very versatile for all groups (Please confirm bed make up when booking). There is also a double bedroom and a single bedroom with trundle bed, great for children (please confirm bed make up at time of booking). The family bathroom with bath and overhead shower is also on the first floor. 

Just a short walk through the village, takes you to the award winning village stores, selling an array of local goods and fresh produce. The village also benefits from an abundance of countryside walks and a village pub. Just 3.5 miles from Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door which can be walked from the cottage along footpaths.

Bedrooms: 1) King size zip and link bed, can be set as two twin beds on request, wash hand basin, cottage beams and storage 2) Single bed, with trundle underneath available on request, only suitable for a child due to size of the room. 3) Double bed, storage. 

Bathroom: Family bathroom, bath with overhead electric shower, wash hand basin. W.C in separate room next door.

Kitchen: Gas oven and hob, fridge/freezer, kettle, toaster, microwave.

Utility: Washing machine and drying rack.

Dining Room: Dining table with 6 chairs, pine dresser, beams, original bread ovens.

Living Room: Cosy and comfortable. 2 large settees, coffee table, TV, radio, wood burner, south facing with doors opening onto patio.

ConservatoryAdjoined to the kitchen, with wicker seating and double doors which can be opened out to the patio. 

Garden: Enclosed, with patio and lawn, washing line, garden furniture.
